I find beauty and intrigue in so many different things.
I find the lines and shapes of buildings stunning while the storm approaching over the mountains takes my breath away. I've been asked if I travel to take these photos... and really, the answer is no. I love to travel and I love to record those places on film or "card" but the images find me; I do not search them out. I try to keep a camera with me and when I see the moment, I know it. I may need to stop for a half hour and shoot (which often drives my husband and three boys crazy) but this is how I find my photos. Life happens every day, all around us. Life presents itself as art, if you pay attention.
That's what my photographic art is about... just the moment as it went by ~ nothing staged, nothing planned, nothing forced ~ just as is.
